The Krimmler Waterfalls in the Hohe Tauern National Park
Walk on the easy hiking trail to the breathtaking waterfalls. You reach the lowest waterfall after a ten to 15 minute walk. From there the waterfall hiking trail leads to the top of the Krimmler Waterfalls and continues into the Krimmler Achen valley. The Krimmler hiking trail is open for you from mid-April to the end of October. The sculptor Christian Hitsch has made the circular waterfall hiking trail even more comfortable with seating opportunities that he created himself: enjoy the benches sculpted out of marble that the artist has harmoniously integrated into the landscape, the wonderful view over the Krimmler Waterfalls and the untouched natural scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park.
After a refreshing shower of spray and unforgettable impressions of the Krimmler Waterfalls you can round off your evening with a delicious meal in the cosy parlour rooms at the Mariasteinerhof. Send your no-obligation enquiry to the Mariasteinerhof and look forward to an adventurous holiday in Austria.
