Mariasteinerhof:your hotel in Tyrol

Traditional Tyrolean hospitality during your Austrian holiday

The Mariasteinerhof is a lovingly managed four-star hotel in Austria. Tyrol's tradition is preserved and warm hospitality is practised here.

Guests from all over the world have been finding a comfortable home at the Mariasteinerhof since 1878. Hotel Mariasteinerhof is situated at 575 metres above sea level surrounded by the magical Tyrolean mountains. The natural Tyrolean scenery and warm hospitality make your holiday in Austria an unforgettable experience.

Thomas Radinger took over the family jewel, the Mariasteinerhof, together with his wife Maria in 2004. The innovative drive of his mother Johanna Radinger turned the Mariasteinerhof into a modern hotel where you can feel the Tyrolean charm and warmth. Josef Schnellrieder laid the foundation stone for the Gasthaus Mariastein in 1878 – the Radinger family has made it into one of the most popular four-star hotels in Tyrol with a great deal of dedication and passion.

Hotel Mariasteinerhof in Tyrol:hospitality since 1878

People have been gathering at the Mariasteinerhof to chat over a glass of wine and hearty meal for more than a hundred years. The Mariasteinerhof combines tradition, modern comfort and the friendly cheerfulness of the Radinger family, who always make every effort that you want for nothing. Top quality cooking goes just as much without saying for your hosts as attentive service and being open to every single one of your requests.

Tyrolean harp meeting

Socialising and the enjoyment in playing music together is nurtured at the harp meeting that takes place every year on Palm Sunday. Groups make their way to Mariastein for this from Tyrol, South Tyrol and Bavaria. After a devotion in the pilgrimage church, the official part follows at the Mariasteinerhof where the host Maria is a passionate harpist herself. Accordions, guitars and other instruments are used besides harps. Accompanied by singing, the sounds of real Tyrolean folk music come to life, as well as "Gstanzl" stanzas or ditties.

Your host also embellishes the ambience at the Mariasteinerhof with harp music at the welcome evening that is held once a week.

There is always someone for you to talk to at the Mariasteinerhof: Give us a call on +43 5332 56717 or send your no-obligation enquiry for a holiday in beautiful Mariastein. The Radinger family is looking forward to welcoming you at the Mariasteinerhof.
